Ponderings
In other news - my lease is up at the end of July. Not sure what my roommate and I are doing in terms of apartments. I'm applying to a 3 month program in San Francisco that doesn't start until October but I won't find out if I've gotten in until Mid-August. Options are - sign another lease with my roommate some place in the dreaded "Uptown." Find a cheap month to month sublet probably in Brooklyn or Downtown. Or.. eek. Live with my parents for 2 months. Part of me wants to live with them just so I can watch True Blood and Madmen right when it airs. Saw two back to back episodes of True Blood last night while in Schmersey and I'm hooked again...
First Home Made Meal... with the boy
This is sooo belated but my mother is getting blog withdrawal so I figured I'd post this. I'm chilling at my parent's watching True Blood!! So exciting to watch an actual TV instead of my computer.
In other news, I found a dress for my 10 year high school reunion. I had a few dresses in mind until my friend on the reunion committee told me it was comfortable casual. What the hell does that mean? So I got something in a more "casual" jersey fabric from Urban Outfitters except that it feels pretty short and sometimes I think my butt is hanging out. C'est la vie. I'm excited. It will be fun. Haven't gotten my dance on in a while.

My Unusual NJ Sighting

I had coffee at my usual spot this morning (Java Girl). Then headed to my parent's. During my two block walk home, I spotted two bunnies frolicking in a neighbor's front yard, barely afraid of me. Afterward, at Nordstrom Rack and Century 21, I had possibly the most successful shopping experience in record - two cute and heavily discounted dresses, an elegant shirt, and super high pair of Calvin Klein heels that have cushioned soles. On my way home, I made the quick decision to get off the highway before my usual exit and that's when I noticed the deer... let me explain folks. Wow! very cool. My home town is very suburban and in all the years I lived there and have visited, have never seen more than a squirrel.. and maybe the ocassional bunny. But today! Three bunnies, two deers and one very poor attempt to video tape the experience with my new iPhone 3Gs. Enjoy!
P.S.
I spent the whole day "free boobing" it. i.e. Not wearing a bra. It was quite liberating and freeing. I only have one shirt that I can really pull that off with. It's a tube top so extra liberating not having sleeves. And I'm hoping that my term "free boobing" will catch on faster than my term for NJ (Schmersey). Work with me people.
